Our Hospital Policies
If you will be more than 10 minutes late, please call the front desk to determine if you should reschedule or if same-day accommodation is possible.
Late Appointments
If you are late for an appointment (“late” is arriving 9 minutes or more after your scheduled 20-minute appointment), you have two options: you can reschedule the appointment, or you can wait for the next available appointment that day if there is one available.
We cannot guarantee that your pet will be seen the same day.
Missing an Appointment
We will attempt to contact you to remind you of your appointment 1-2 days prior to your appointment. However, you are responsible for keeping your appointment time even if we cannot reach you.
If you fail to show up for a scheduled appointment and do not call in advance to cancel it, you will be charged a “no show” fee of the current exam fee(office visit/examination fee).
Urgent Care Appointments
These appointments are only available to be scheduled the same day. It is important to keep these appointments available for pets who are in need of urgent care for an emergency or illness. If you no longer need this appointment, please give us at least 30 minutes’ notice to cancel.
If you miss your appointment without 30-minutes’ notice, you will be charged a “no show” fee of current Urgent Care Exam fee. Non-clients must pre-pay the urgent care fee when the appointment is scheduled.
Cancellations
We do understand that occasionally, situations come up that are beyond your control. In those instances, we request that you extend us the courtesy of a notice of cancellation.
After 2 no-shows or cancellations, except for cases of emergency, we will require future appointments to have a deposit of the current exam fee (office visit/examination fee) at the time of scheduling. This deposit is nonrefundable.
